The Cabin

Welcome to a clean and modern cabin, on the beautiful Autrain River. This cabin is fully furnished in a moose motif. The kitchen is fully furnished with a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, silver ware, dishes, towels etc. The living room has a couch, lamps, small library and cable TV.

The cabin bedroom has two queen size beds and a dresser. The bathroom is complete with shower and towels. All linens and towels are provided and their is a washer and dryer for your convenience.

There is a deck that overlooks the river, the Autrain River provides excellent fishing, swimming, and canoeing as well as simple relaxation. Up river is the beautiful Autrain Lake which provides a favored place to water ski, jet ski, and to fish for Bass, Walleye or Pike. Down river is Lake Superior and one of the best beaches in the area.

A canoe, row boat, paddle boat with canopy, and oars are all also provided, as well as life jackets to keep you safe during your visit.

By the river there is a picnic table, benches and a fire pit with a supply of fire wood to help you relax and enjoy the outdoors.

If you are a snowmobile enthusiast there is a private garage to work on your snowmobiles. The snowmobile trail is right across the road and hooks into the endless miles of Alger County snowmobile trails. There's also a snowmobile rental shop and a party store / deli that sells groceries, liquor, beer and gas just down the road.

Pets are generally welcome, but please check with us when making your reservations. Due to the quiet and private atmosphere no RV hookups are allowed.
